Zero-Day Protection
BullGuard's behavior based detection antivirus engine enables you to counter threats known in the industry as zero-day attacks; a computer threat that tries to exploit PC application vulnerabilities that are unknown to others or undisclosed to the software developer. Instead of merely catching viruses once they’ve made their way to the virus signature database, behavioural detection locates viruses which behave abnormally based on file, registry, process, and network events on the computer. Programme Infection Sweeping
Another new feature in the latest BullGuard version is the Inspector, which enables you to check programmes installed on your system (such as MS Word, MSN Messenger etc.) for known security loop-holes and lags and reminds you to update them when necessary.
